Lettering Workshop: Plan Your New Year

A moment to slow down, pick up a marker and start putting words, intentions and little dreams onto paper.

In this lettering workshop at Masia Escrigas, we will discover, step by step, by la Somniadora, the art of drawing beautiful letters and learn the basic techniques to start creating our own compositions.

No previous experience is required.

During the morning…

We will discover the materials, learn how to use the marker correctly and practise strokes, pressure, rhythm and movement.

Decorative elements: little details, flourishes and small drawings.

Between workshops… we eat together

Because at Masia Escrigas, we love beautiful moments to happen around a table. We will share a “Farm to Table” style lunch, inspired by the Candyliving philosophy.

A carefully set table, dishes to share and wholesome, locally inspired cuisine made with seasonal produce, ingredients from our farm and small local producers.

Because the workshop is only part of the experience. The rest happens around the table.

…and in the afternoon…

We will design our won monthly planner, thinking not only about the days ahead, but also about the things we would like to happen.

A phrase. An intention. A little dream.

We will create the calendar, work on the composition and add lettering, titles, colours and details until we turn it into a truly personal piece.

You will leave Masia Escrigas with your finished planner and, perhaps, with a clearer idea of all those beautifull things you want to be part of your year.
