The Cabanya is one of the cottages at Masia Escrigas Farm. In the old days, the farm used to have its own mill. The miller and his family where living there, it was actually the last mill to close in the valley, the main house maintains the old mill. All the farmers around brought the wheat from their crops there to make flour. The “cabanya” in particular was the miller’s stable. That’s where he kept the animals they needed to support his family.
